Meditate, Yoga, and Pray
In an interview, Miranda revealed that she does yoga, meditation, and prayers every single day. She says of her practice, “Even if I just find 10 minutes to do a few sun salutations, that helps me to reenergize and stay balanced.”
Kerr continues, “Hatha yoga has lots of restorative postures, like inversions, which are good to do post-flight. Kundalini works on a more energetic level. With kundalini, you can use different types of breaths, like the ‘Breath of Fire,’ to awaken the body.”
The former Victoria’s Secret angel likes to work out in the morning rather than in the evening. She tries to do at least half an hour of yoga every day, and then will do Pilates or strength training with weights and resistance bands to elongate and tone her muscles.
She usually changes it up, like maybe go for a run instead of Pilates, or sometimes just putting on some music and dancing around the house with her son, Flynn.
Whatever it is, she makes sure she does some type of physical activity every day to get her energy up. She also finds that exercising soothes her stresses away.
Opt for Alkaline Water
According to Kerr, diseases happen in an acidic body, so alkalizing your entire body with the food that you eat and the water that you drink will ensure that you will stay healthier and more protected.
She actually has an alkaline filter on the tap in her home in Australia, and when she travels, she usually fills up her bottles with this alkaline water and brings them with her wherever she goes.
In addition, she said that drinking alkaline water has helped her feel so much better and more hydrated.
Miranda adheres to the 80/20 diet. It means eating nutritious foods 80 percent of the time while allowing yourself to indulge once in a while. It’s a great way to practice moderation and balance instead of completely depriving yourself of certain things.
Live a Chemical-Free Life
Since she was little, Miranda has always been passionate about living a healthy and organic lifestyle. She deems it very important to pay attention to what she puts in her body. She also makes it a point to look after herself on a cellular and physical level.
For her, that equates to eating well, choosing organic products when possible, and always taking time out to nurture herself.
