and advice, regional workshops, and practical publications.

Food Policy Council Program
The national Food Policy Council (FPC) Program is designed
to support the development of current and emerging Food Policy
Councils, and to help them link with and build markets for local
farmers. The program surveys FPCs on their needs, provides
direct technical assistance, facilitates information sharing,
and identifies policy ideas and promising practices for supporting
local farmers (especially women, people of color, limited resource,
and other traditionally underserved groups).

COMFOOD is a free nationwide listserve linking
groups and individuals interested in community food security.
COMFOOD provides a lively forum for discussing issues, sharing
resources, and networking with others across the country. It
has over 1,000 subscribers.
