He's also a practicing ER Physician, Chief Wellness Officer for Florida Emergency Physicians and an Assistant Professor in Clinical Medicine at the University of Central Florida Medical School. Earlier in his career, Dr. Ara was a physician on the European Tour and the European Ryder Cup Teams.
Dr. Ara is the Chief Medical Analyst on Morning Drive, Golf Channel's daily news and lifestyle program, and Golf Central, the network's evening news program. He is a regular contributor and on the advisory board of Golf Digest. He has also been featured in the BBC series Trauma and is the creator of Golf Medicine at TourCouncil.com.
