Re: Fighting COVID-19 with metformin, rapamycin and NAD precursors: new paper published

i'd worry if this is all we have to fight this virus. We need targeted solutions for inflammation storm - i.e. reducing the chaos in the lungs. I believe in NMN and NAD+ for my longevity program, and perhaps a general immune booster, but i am not going to spend energy looking at it as a promising tr...

Re: should we just stay away from sugar?

Binging on sugar for one day sounds awful, but having one or two sweet servings on cheat day may be a good way to get you through the week on a strict diet. It can also trick your metabolism preventing it from adjusting to your strict diet. i would also remove simple carbs from your diet as well as ...

Re: Reservatrol with Piperine increasing bioavailability?

So do we have some good ideas of fat foods we could use with Resveratrol without the sugar (e.g. yogurt)?

Cottage cheese i guess? Although it has a lot of lactose.

Re: The anti-aging effects of statins: delayed senescence, longer telomeres and longer life

It may be that Lipitor or other pharmacy grade statins can be as useful for longevity as Metformin appears to be. We are definitely getting a great set of tools to consider for good health and longevity. But what i am reading here about NMN is that it is the most vital. And i guess Resveratrol to go...

Re: Virus infection and aging

It is frustrating, but anyone who would be working on a vaccine says 10 to 12 months at best. That is a long time, but maybe if social distancing slows in down to a crawl, a residue of our normal life may partially resume.

Re: Fisetin Protects Against Cardiac Cell Death

I think it is one of the strongest. Eventually the results of the trials on elderly frailty will be out.

They do High doses 2 days followed by 28 days no fisetin.

Not sure how that will compare to daily fisetin.

Re: NMN: Curious case of self resolving Lumbar injury

This makes sense to me, NMN can strengthen muscle tissue, as fasting could, and also replenish other tissues and substances, like fluid in the spine, as fasting potentially could.

Re: Using NAD+ nasal too soon after sore throat symptoms abated

So is it assumed to be safer or, in fact safe to use NMN and not NAD+ when you are sick with possible bacterial infection.

I theorise this as the NMN boosts the NAD+ levels in a deep tissue sense.

Or is it better to avoid both when you have infection, be it bacterial or yeast.

This is actually incredible.

I think years were wasted in the fight against dietary fats, when the real enemy was simple carbs all along.

Olive oil is amazing, with a high smoke point of around 200 degrees C.

Re: Acute Nerve pain

CBD and NAD+ - I think they have nailed it - my next purchase, interesting to see how this goes https://alivebynature.com/product-category/cenergy/ I found this product to burn the sinuses more than regular NAD nasal spray... has anyone else noticed this? You can also get a histamine reaction that ...
