Re: Do NMN Jars Contain Right Amt. by Weight?

I have weighed a brand new 16g jar and deducting the weight of an empty 16g jar I do get to exactly 16g so I think we get exactly the stated amount by weight on this size of jar.

Re: Short of NMN, just fast!

Just to add I've just come back from an 8 day vacation where I didn't take any sort of supplement at all. I did keep the meals down to just two per day with absolutely no snacking in between. I don't feel that I have gone noticeably backwards in the key improvement that I've been seeing since starti...

Re: Alive by Nature Launches its Renue Line of Skin Care Products

Thanks guys - sounds like once or twice a day and probably mixing that up will do some good.
(I have lots of problem areas of different types as alluded to in previous posts - will report back on progress in a few weeks).

Re: Alive by Nature Launches its Renue Line of Skin Care Products

For you guys who've been using this a little while, how often do you apply? (Just received my first batch and have a good test for it - scars on my left hand from a circular saw accident (don't ask) and impaired feeling in two of the fingers so it will be interesting to see if any of this improves o...

Re: What is your monthly longevity and healthspan budget

My money is on you Boxcost as well as it sounds like you've the perfect regime going. Anyway, another thought on the monthly budget. Supposedly, as we age, we are less able to absorb the nutrients we need, hence the need for vitamin and mineral supplements etc. Therefore, if we do manage to wind the...

Re: shipping 100 gram NMN

I spoke to them on Thursday (it was bank holiday for them on Friday) about the 100g as I'm waiting as well. Their supplier has let them down and they said to me it would likely be another 2 weeks.

Re: What is your monthly longevity and healthspan budget

I'd like to think that as anti-aging becomes more mainstream, the cost of our most expensive supplements (i.e. NMN and NAD+) would come down substantially, (as these are natural substances so no-one can slap a patent on them), and so we should benefit from economies of scale and competition driving ...

Re: New study: less metabolic benefit from exercise with nmn

There was also this comment, "We suggest NMN administration may not be beneficial when NAD+ levels are replete." So I don't think the headline is as bad as it looks - if you are short of NAD+ then taking the NMN is beneficial; once you have enough NAD+ then it's pointless or detrimental in trying to...

Re: What is your monthly longevity and healthspan budget

Having halved the amount of meat I consume, and given the price of decent meat in the UK, I view this as an ongoing saving. Having bought a decent exercise bike (similar to what I used in the gym), I'm now thinking of buying some weights and then giving up the gym membership as that would pay for it...
