Cool, thanks for sharing! Sounds like you have a doctor who keeps up with new research and is open-minded, fantastic!
Unfortunately hard to find one in Australia OzSport.
I do have the contact details of a couple of open minded Doctors just over the Border in NSW if you run into a brick wall when trying to find one.
Your from Ballarat aren’t you?
Cheers for that, Newage! Nope, I'm not from Ballarat, but thanks anyways, all good! :D

More than 250 substances are known in the world that positively affect life expectancy, but we have no idea how they interact with each other. It is already clear that there will not be one magic pill that acts only on the aging mechanism - we are waiting for a long treatment process, which includes a combination of many drugs. The main thing here is not only to find the necessary combination of drugs, but also to suppress possible side effects.
Diet is an attempt to eat calories instead of food.

Not sure how you have come to the conclusion that there are 250 molecules known to extend life but the National Institute on Aging Interventions Testing Program (ITP) so far have revealed 6 compounds that extends the median lifespan in mice under the same controlled conditions:

Aspirin – Increased lifespan in males but not females (Strong et al., 2008).

Rapamycin – Increased mean and maximal lifespan in both males and females when initiated at 20 months of age (Harrison et al., 2009) and when initiated at 9 months of age (Miller et al., 2011). Females responded more robustly than males at equivalent doses; when ~ equal blood levels were achieved, response was also about equivalent in females and males (Miller et al., 2013).

17αEstradiol – Increased lifespan in males but not females, at 4.8 ppm dose (Harrison et al., 2013) and 14.4 ppm dose (Strong et al., 2016).

Acarbose – Increased lifespan in both males and females, but the effects were greater in males, when initiated at 4 months of age (Harrison et al., 2013), but only males responded when initiated at 16 months of age (Strong et al., 2016).

NDGA (nordihydroguaiaretic acid) – Increased mean lifespan in males but not females (Strong et al., 2008), even at doses that gave equivalent blood levels in males and females (Harrison et al., 2013).

Protandim® – Increased lifespan in males but not females (Strong et al., 2016).

Sounds like males get the better deal here...

We need to get some more things on the board for the fairer sex!

Notice that NAD has not made this list. The NIH is a leading institute and provides funding to researchers throughout the world to publish factual information. This list is the most up to date research currently. That said we are all taking a product(s) that are not on this list and have seen some amazing results. Hopefully with all the research that is coming out on NAD and precursors it will make the list soon.

NR was tested but didn´t make the list so I´m guessing it didn´t provide any life extension. I think they will test NMN too.

I agree Fred. I looked the other day to see if there was anything about NMN/NAD+ on the site but didn't see anything. I believe it is probably just a matter of time and money
