Astaxanthin increases mitochondria health and extends lifespan

Post by guest1576 » Wed Jul 24, 2019 12:41 am

Astaxanthin increases mitochondria health and extends lifespan.

It’s not a coincidence we include it in our NAD+ Energizer product

"Genetic analyses indicated that the Astaxanthin-mediated life-extension relies on mitochondria activity

These data indicated a cross-species effect on the oxidative phosphorylation (OXPHOS) machinery by the carotenoid, and provide with further insights into the molecular mechanism of animals longevity extension by Astaxanthin."

From reading this article, it seems it has not yet been peer-reviewed. I would like to see other sources.

it seems it is found in seafood like shrimp and krill.

You asked for it. Here is another article that you might find interesting.
