Post your weight and dosage thread

Post by AUKC » Sat Nov 09, 2019 9:46 am

It's already been posted in the forum, but i'm referencing it here - worth a watch if you haven't already: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5DtWqza ... e=youtu.be&

From the comments, referencing a study done

"Older mice that were given NMN (300 mg/kg/day) experienced delayed aging in the liver, muscle, immune cells, eyes, and bones, but those that took a lower dose of NMN (100mg/kg/day or human equivalent of 8mg/kg/day) had improved mitochondrial function and enhanced physical performance."

So how heavy are you and what's your current dosage?

I'm 75kg. 625mg NMN so right on the "low dosage" end of the equivalent trial in mice. 1,800mg would be considered a high dose.

Current Dosages:
200mg Resveratrol
750mg NMN
1000mg L-Arginine

6’2” 165lb 41m
250mg every day

Super curious if anyone has seen a chart of nad levels by age. In the Rhonda Patrick interview, David Sinclair mentioned that since he’s 50, he probably has half the NAD from when he was 20.

You know Dr. David was correct when he said that the older you are the less NAD+ you have. Taking NMN you can replenish the NAD+ to youthful levels.

Now that I would be very interested to see.

In Australia i've never heard anyone have NAD levels tested anywhere though. So not sure how to go about that

AUKC,... yeah there's nothing out there as of yet to measure strictly NAD levels in the body. Hopefully, they are working on this.

Until we can find independent testing for NAD levels we are not going to be in a position to know what those “youthful” levels would have been and what range we are now striving to return those NAD levels back to..

Wouldn´t a test that measure sirtuin-activation by NAD be more informative actually? Since activation of SIRT1 is mainly how NAD-repletion influence so many different tissues in positive ways.

I am a 59 1/2 year old male that's 72" tall and 190lbs with a 32" waist though my weight often fluctuates as much as 7lbs to 183lb during the week due to athletic activity. Thanks to the knowledge shared by the many contributors to the ABN forum, I've decided to add another 125mg of NMN daily and the difference in recovery and post workout energy has been noticeable.

750mg of NMN 5 days per week.
1,000mg of Resveratrol 7 days per week.
